Miniraves Brisbane takes place on the large open grass field at The Hills of Rivermakers, presented in a festival-style layout designed for families.

The outdoor grass field becomes the exclusive Miniraves ticketed zone for the duration of the event.

Moving between areas

Guests may move freely between the Miniraves Field and the wider Hills of Rivermakers venue throughout the event.

If you plan to leave the Miniraves Field and return, you must receive a re-entry stamp from Miniraves staff before exiting. Re-entry is only permitted with a valid stamp.

Wider venue facilities

The wider Hills of Rivermakers venue offers extensive additional facilities beyond the Miniraves Field, including bars, restaurants, indoor and outdoor seating areas, playground spaces and family-friendly areas.

Multiple indoor restroom facilities are located throughout the venue, offering added comfort and convenience in addition to the portable toilets within the Miniraves Field.

Food & drinks

Within the Miniraves Field, food and beverage carts operated by The Hills will be available, offering a variety of food and drinks conveniently located inside the Miniraves zone.

Additional dining options, bars and extended menu selections are available upstairs within The Hills of Rivermakers venue.

Food from The Hills restaurants upstairs is ordered via their QR code system, allowing you to order directly to your table or seating area within the wider venue.

All bars, restaurants and general facilities within The Hills of Rivermakers remain open to the public and are not exclusive to the Miniraves event.

Miniraves is a daytime, rave-style music experience for minis and their grown-ups.

Created for families who love music, movement and big shared moments.

If music once shaped your weekends, your friendships and your best memories — Miniraves is the vibe.

Reimagined for daytime, for families, and for sharing with the minis who now dance alongside you.

We transform premium venues into vibrant worlds of sound and colour, with live DJs, themed Feature Sets, lighting, visuals and playful production throughout the day.

Expect balloon drops, confetti bursting into the air, giant inflatables moving through the crowd, roaming performers and electric moments — all centred around the main stage, where the energy builds and the dancefloor comes alive.
Miniraves is a rave-style event centred around the main stage and designed to feel lively, exciting and immersive.

Music and movement are present throughout the venue, with energy building around the main stage at key moments across the day. While audio levels are intentionally managed for a daytime event, the atmosphere remains dynamic and engaging.

This is not a quiet or low-stimulus event.

When deciding if this experience is suitable for your child, please consider the following elements, which form part of the environment:

Lighting & visuals

✦ Time-coded visuals and colour effects are used throughout the event

✦ Occasional flashing lights may be used during Feature Set moments

Sound & special-effect audio

✦ Music levels are intentionally lower than a typical rave-style event

✦ Energetic moments, bass hits and special-effect sounds are used as part of the production

Crowds & movement

✦ The main stage and dancefloor may become busy during peak moments

✦ Other areas of the venue may also have ongoing movement and activity

Interactive & production moments

✦ Giant inflatables, balloon drops and confetti moments

✦ Timed production cues and stage effects, including sparkular and CO₂

Families are welcome to move around the venue, take breaks when needed and re-enter during the session.

Miniraves is not a low-stimulus event. Music, movement and visual activity are present throughout the venue.

Families who are sensitive to sound, light, crowds or sudden interactive moments may wish to bring hearing protection or take breaks away from high-traffic areas.

If your child requires a quiet or highly controlled sensory environment, Miniraves may not be the right experience for your family.
At the heart of the day is the Miniraves Feature Set — our signature 30-minute moment where the whole dancefloor comes together.

This is when the energy lifts around the main stage and the full production comes to life, with music, visuals, performers and interactive moments designed to be shared by minis and their grown-ups.

You can expect:

It’s the most dynamic part of the event and often the moment families remember most.
Each Miniraves event centres around a full-scale main stage experience, with large-format production, lighting, visuals and music forming the heart of the day.

Surrounding the main stage is a rotating mix of activities, vendors and themed moments designed to complement the rave-style experience.

Most activities are included with your ticket and can be enjoyed throughout the day. These may include things like soft play, arts and craft, themed photo zones, roaming characters and special event surprises. Activities and offerings vary by city.

Some optional vendor-led experiences, such as face painting or specialty hair braiding use Tokens.

✦ Tokens can be pre-purchased online or purchased on the day

✦ Limited Tokens and showbags are available from the Showbags & Tokens Booth on the day

As Miniraves is a busy event, waiting times should be expected for both free and token-based activities, particularly during peak moments.

The experience is designed for children, families and minis first, with alcohol service managed responsibly throughout the day.

Grown-ups are welcome to relax with a beverage while remaining mindful of children around them and following venue and RSA requirements, helping maintain a positive, family-friendly atmosphere for everyone attending.
