Miniraves is a rave-style event centred around the main stage and designed to feel lively, exciting and immersive.

Music and movement are present throughout the venue, with energy building around the main stage at key moments across the day. While audio levels are intentionally managed for a daytime event, the atmosphere remains dynamic and engaging.

This is not a quiet or low-stimulus event.

When deciding if this experience is suitable for your child, please consider the following elements, which form part of the environment:

Lighting & visuals

✦ Time-coded visuals and colour effects are used throughout the event

✦ Occasional flashing lights may be used during Feature Set moments

Sound & special-effect audio

✦ Music levels are intentionally lower than a typical rave-style event

✦ Energetic moments, bass hits and special-effect sounds are used as part of the production

Crowds & movement

✦ The main stage and dancefloor may become busy during peak moments

✦ Other areas of the venue may also have ongoing movement and activity

Interactive & production moments

✦ Giant inflatables, balloon drops and confetti moments

✦ Timed production cues and stage effects, including sparkular and CO₂

Families are welcome to move around the venue, take breaks when needed and re-enter during the session.

Miniraves is not a low-stimulus event. Music, movement and visual activity are present throughout the venue.

Families who are sensitive to sound, light, crowds or sudden interactive moments may wish to bring hearing protection or take breaks away from high-traffic areas.

If your child requires a quiet or highly controlled sensory environment, Miniraves may not be the right experience for your family.

Each Miniraves event centres around a full-scale main stage experience, with large-format production, lighting, visuals and music forming the heart of the day.

Surrounding the main stage is a rotating mix of activities, vendors and themed moments designed to complement the rave-style experience.

Most activities are included with your ticket and can be enjoyed throughout the day. These may include things like soft play, arts and craft, themed photo zones, roaming characters and special event surprises. Activities and offerings vary by city.

Some optional vendor-led experiences, such as face painting or specialty hair braiding use Tokens.

Miniraves takes place at licensed venues, and adults are welcome to enjoy a drink during the event.

The experience is designed for children, families and minis first, with alcohol service managed responsibly throughout the day.

Grown-ups are welcome to relax with a beverage while remaining mindful of children around them and following venue and RSA requirements, helping maintain a positive, family-friendly atmosphere for everyone attending.
